Audio Archive - Osibisa
Hosted by Eddie and Glen. Osibisa are an African/Caribbean band that formed in Britain in the late 1960's. They were early exponents of what was to be called 'World Music' and were noted for their spectacular album cover art by the artist Rodger Dean. Known as the 'Beautiful Seven' their music spread across the globe with their great hit Dance The Body Music. We share selections from the albums; Osibisa, Osibirock, Ojah Awake and Woyaya (Beautiful Seven). This show is also a memorial to one of the group's founding members Teddy Osei, who sadly passed earlier this year.
