MPR HUBS Project

The MPR Hubs initiative is an opportunity for people in the wider Manawatū, Rangitikei and Tararua districts to participate in Access Media, without the travel and time commitments involved in travelling to our Papaeoia studios.

Locations:

Feilding: At the Library, Fortnightly from 10am Fridays

What can you do at a hub?

There are a range of options to get your message on MPR:

  • Regular Content

Much like "What Have You Done For Us Lately?" you can arrange to attend the hubs every fortnight and record content for regular broadcast and podcast on MPR. This can be a series on pretty much anything and just like the other programmes you hear on MPR. See our “About” page for more information.

  • Community Interview

Do you have an event coming up? Or a particular thing you’d like to raise awareness of that maybe wouldn’t be suitable for regular content? Then arrange to come to the hub and be interviewed by one of our team for roughly 10 minutes for broadcast on our Morning Show!

  • Community Notice

If you have an event, workshop, community activity coming up that you would like promoted, we can take the details from you at a hub and we’ll produce a community notice that will be broadacsct regularly.

  • Enquiries

We are always happy to meet interested parties at the hub, with no obligation to create content. Maybe you want to know more about MPR, or discuss how we can work with you in other areas (see our other initiatives). By all means pop down and have a chat!

To arrange a time to record at a hub, simply email hugh@mpr.nz or call (06) 357 9340.
